GIVING UPDATE from 9/26/21

The Pastor Search Committee has been working very hard to narrow down the list of fantastic candidates. They are currently conducting second interviews. By the end of next week, they will have narrowed the list down to one candidate. A date will be set for that person to preach at First Baptist and meet our congregation. Please continue to pray for the Pastor Search Committee. They still have a lot of work to do and hard decisions to make as they prayerfully consider which candidate God is calling to be the next senior pastor of FBC.

September 26th was World Hunger Day. Please consider giving a special monetary gift throughout the month of October. This gift will be used to pay for the food that we package in January for Rise Against Hunger. The food that is packaged is sent all over the world to impoverished countries to help feed the hungry. Instructions on how to donate will be in next week’s Messenger.

Our Sanctuary Choir has begun work on Christmas music. It’s a great time to join or rejoin choir! If you cannot commit to full rehearsals and want to do Christmas music only, we will do that early in the rehearsal, so you can slip out after that segment. Hope to see you in the choir room Wednesday night at 7:00!
